The work
- Lead the platform that unifies ledger events, banking feeds, and operational data.
- Ship typed APIs and a query layer that finance, IR, and risk can actually use.
- Set the engineering bar: reviews, observability, and incident language.
- Mentor a distributed team across US-East and EU time zones.
- Build the demo that closes a board.
What you have already done
- 10+ years shipping production systems; 3+ as a principal or staff engineer.
- Deep TypeScript or Python, and respect for both.
- Experience with financial data, not just dashboards.
- A portfolio of systems that survived an audit.
