Six stages, and the same six whether the role is remote or in an office. Here is roughly how long each one takes and what happens in it.
01 · Day 0
Before you see the posting, a partner has sat with the client and written down what the role owns in year one and what it pays. That document is what we assess you against.
02 · Day 0 to 7
A few lines in your own words about what you do and why the role, then you verify on LinkedIn so we can confirm your titles and dates. As soon as that step is done, your reference number and place in the review queue open on their own confirmation page and land in your inbox.
03 · Week 1 to 3
Thirty minutes on video. We talk through a decision you would actually face in the job, and you get the compensation range. No trick questions, no culture quiz.
04 · Week 2 to 5
A short written memo overnight, a live working session, or a review of something you have already built. One exercise, not a gauntlet.
05 · Week 4 to 7
Two or three calls, and we ask you to include someone you disappointed. We check the off-limits list before we go near your current employer.
06 · Week 6 to 12
Base, bonus, any equity, start date and a first-90-days plan, all on paper before anyone signs anything.
